Aeroguidance Mark 5 & 6

The Aeroguidance Mark 5 and Mark 6 Synthetic Trainers have been designed to give aviators the edge in instrument skills training. By harnessing the speed and technology of today's computer systems, the Aeroguidance delivers the ultimate in aviation realism and flight dynamics.

The unique ratiometric controls of the Aeroguidance system eliminate non-linearity and drift problems that are so common with all other computer based simulations. The KTI synthetic trainers compare favourably with purpose-built flight simulators but a fraction of the cost.

Common to both systems are a control console, a yoke, a rudder bar, software, cables and an operations manual.

The Aeroguidance Mark 5 is designed for solo flight simulations with CASA endorsement for the accrual of instrument ground time and instrument approaches. It can therefore be used to accumulate the 2 hours (of three) instrument time each 90 days to maintain approach recency on all navaids, including ILS/LLZ.

The Aeroguidance Mark 6 has the software capacity to connect an instructors console for complete instrument training. Holding full CASA approval as a complete Category B Synthetic Trainer, the Mark 6 covers instrument ground training (up to 20 hours for the Command Instrument Rating), accrual of instrument ground time for recency and all instrument approaches (except GPS arrivals) and renewals.

Aeroguidance Mark 4

With the rising cost of operating aircraft, fuel – maintenance – airways charges etc, now more than ever it makes sense to practice and hone instrument flying skills inexpensively on the ground.

By harnessing the speed and technology of today's latest computer systems, AeroGuidance delivers the ultimate in aviation realism and flight dynamics.

The AeroGuidance Mark 4 is designed for solo flight simulations. It can be used to maintain recency on land based navaids including NDB, VOR, ILS/LLZ.

It includes the Australian database and a quality yoke and rubber pedals. This unit is designed for pilots who wish to practice instrument flying and improve their instrument skills without necessarily seeking CASA authorised IFR credits which come with the Mark 5 and Mark 6 FSD2 units.
